Great catch! As the portabote is light, can easily move on the water. How do you know you are back to the exact same spot?

@ewallisonjr i believe so. People routinely keep "hitchhiking lings," and I've never seen any regulations stating the hook must be in the mouth for rockfish or halis

Judging from the fish eyes not popping out, definitely not 350ft deep. Rockfish including lingcod and others are closed after Sept 30th. This vid was release only hrs ago making everyone think the fishing trip was only days before.
