When I hear the lyrics "A bittersweet surrender.." it always reminds me of the last day of our dog's life when we had to let him go because of cancer. He was a bundle of joy to his last breath.

BHT is one of the best live bands I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot. He and his band are so about their fans. I had a conversation with Jeremy the last time I saw them, and he was very gracious. I got a set list from him, and got them all to sign it. Todd's voice is about the best out there, and as a huge Clapton fan, he does an awesome cover of "Forever Man." If you have never seen them, you have to. They don't charge much to see them, and you will appreciate it when you do.

I know a roadie that works with the big time bands like U2 and he thought to fly a bit under the radar and not be HUGE was less chaotic and stressful which ultimately is a better life. I can't speak for BHT but I could see where it's meant to be for how it worked out and maybe best. For selfish reasons I'm loving it that I get to see them at an enjoyable venue in Ridgeland, Mississippi, July 9th.
