I have had mine for a few months and love it!

Does anyone have this and find there’s a fairly significant blade slop? Back and forth and sideways it’s pretty tight, but there’s a fairly amount of up and down movement. Do I have a defective one?

You have to LOVE utility knives to get this one, and some don't like the price on a Benchmade knife??? Thank you Jay for jumping off of the deep end to get this one!

What are your thoughts on using ball bearings as opposed to bronze washers due to usage around drywall dust, etc. Well, as you show, it is easy to disassemble and clean.

Excellent point! Drywall dust could potentially be a problem with the bearings. Maybe washers would've been the better way to go. That dust is so fine, it just gets everywhere.

Ouch on the titanium frame and no insert; staying to my kobalt back lock utilty knife (the shiny blue one not the terrible dull blue one).

Does it have a safety lock ?

Yeah the bottom flairs out, like a liner lock but full body. It's very sturdy

if you mean a secondary lock, no. Just the frame lock.
