Looks like a beautiful pen. I don't like the small converters because I use loads of ink when drawing but I might make an exception for this one. The ink was beautiful as well. I enjoy Carbon ink but I've only used their black. The texture you created here is great. Nice work! 👍🏻 A little off topic, do you know of any cartridges for Lamy or Hongdian that come with waterproof ink in them? Maybe from Carbon?

Thanks Pete! As far as I know, no LAMY or HongDian cartridge comes with actual waterproof ink. The LAMY blue ink might have some resistance to water but is not marked as waterproof.

@@IllustrationsByPete Keep in mind that you can always refill those cartridges with waterproof ink. And if you want to carry them around, they do make some rubber plugs that can be used on the ends of the cartridges. www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/372999-ink-cartridge-stoppers/

@@eugenborcan That's what I do right now and keep many bottles of ink handy at all times. 😂 But sometimes I'd like to be able to just lock and load without all the mess. I will look into those plugs though. 👍🏻

One other option will be to use Platinum fountain pens and use their Platinum Black ink cartridges.

i use a 20yr old steel Tsunami cartridge pen, the paint is coming off the brass nib holder. should i restore the paint or would i be better off stripping it back to brass?

Honestly, it all depends on your preference. If you like a worn-out look (some do) where brass is showing off through the paint, is OK to use it as is. If you like the brass look, you can strip out the paint - just make sure you don't damage the holder in the process. If you like the original look, you can restore the paint - but you will most probably have to strip the paint first and then re-paint. It will be hard to do a perfect paint match and restore only the portions where brass is showing.
