I Could be the only one out of the 30's who made it to the NFL. SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE HARLEM'S HOMIES I GREW UP WITH. THAT'S WHERE I GOT MY HEART FROM. I DIDN'T FEAR SHIT ON THAT FOOTBALL FIELD.

Thinking back, I'm glad dad kept a leash on the testosterone he produced in his boys. Having been a young boy growing into manhood himself, he kept tabs on the thoughts and actions of the invincibles. Held to a standard that surpassed the streets, I had a duty to myself to stay in line. I had choices to make. Out grew him in 9-10th grade, hormones raging as nature would have it. Didn't mean a thing. If you wanted it, you could get it. I didn't want it. Mom saved us numerous times. (Thank you 🙏) He always said "Honor, discipline and respect". Standing on my own for many years now, I still hear those words coming from his mouth. Still using what you told us years ago.🤎 Another good one KevMac!

99% of the black populations in cities in the Northeast, Midwest, and West Coast came from the South. There used to be direct railroad lines directly from the deep South to cities like Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, New York, L.A., St. Louis, etc, etc, etc, etc.... Go back far enough in the family, in any city outside of the traditional South, and the black people there will tell that their family members originally came from the South at some point.

people can say what they want about AC because of him being Crip then Blood/Piru or however it went. AC knew a lot of people from both sides. Giving this unique position in the origins of the gang world, he could of probably did so much more to bring hoods together and or squash beefs if he had the motivation and backing.

Big Tookie said in his book he along with Buddha confronted Big James Miller and turnt him to crip. James homeboy later told Tookie the mission was to smoke him and Buddha but Big James hesitated, Thankfully the Big Homie didn't follow through with that.
