My favorite lure is a top water bass popper.. doesn't matter brand, size or color or time of year. In my experience It has always delivered. I live in East Tennessee so we don't get iced over. Great video, I think the restoration looks great! Thanks for sharing!

I think you have found an old Rebel Minnow. Shallow runner that was used a lot for Striper fishing back in the 70s

Oh that wouldn't surprise me - quite a striking resemblance. It had some scratches on it that were too far away from the hook to be caused by the hook itself, so something with some teeth probably got a hold of it at some point. I've just restored an old *_L & S Bass Master Model 15_* that I found at an antique store not too far from my home. Based on my research I think it is about 50 years old.

The husky jerk is one of the best jerkbaits on the market in my opinion. I caught a spotted bass today on a different Rapala jerkbait, the rip stop. Believe it or not, the bass had a WHOLE CRAWFISH inside its mouth. You’ll see it in my next video.
