Cosideriung the future storage building, Maintenance has to be a top priority. Looking 10 years ahead, size of farming operation, who will be involved in daily operations ?Truth is, dads' get older, uncle's retire. Working on equipment in a dry heated enviroment cannot be over-stressed. Same with a wash bay that provides extra dry storage when not in use. I suggest conferring with Dougo Larson of Larson Farms to see how set-up would be a good example to copy. Spending more is realistic for future expansion. Cutting corners, scree mping on dollars will bite you in the butt for a long time ! Just something to consider for the future !

Probably a dumb question, why doesn’t JD color code the hydraulic connections on both ends? Would save on hookup times,help with less experience levels could do it.

Trippy, does Katie and Jeff run the tillage while you and your dad plant? That is a lot of green in the yard. You have a very nice farm set up. Keep it between the rows.🚜🌽

Andy.... Are the hydrualic color coded so you don't mix up the lines? If they aren't it looks as though it would be pretty confusing.

@aTrippyFarmer Жыл бұрын
We haven’t tried it, but I know a lot of farmers that do it. I’d love to implement it here… it just requires everyone to be on board and willing to invest in the equipment.

The Easter rain ….if it rains on Easter Sunday, it will rain for the next 7 Sunday’s….followed this for 10-12 yrs…..most I ever saw was 3 one year….all other’s maybe 2, skip then another Sunday…like most old sayings….some truth, some bad records and faulty memory.
