I love Big John. He’s honest and he’s fair. Today’s segment was so well handled. Explained what needed explaining and admitted where things could have been done better. Love the retrospective stories and his sharp memory, which UFC featured certain matches or key moments in fights. Awesome human 🙂

Josh saying Alex doesn’t get the respect he deserves makes no sense to me. Comparing popularity of Max and Justin vs Alex and Jamahal isn’t the same as people not respecting him. I see nothing but love for Alex all over social media constantly. IMO the fans wanting to see 2 of their favorite fighters get the main event over a newer fighter doesn’t equal disrespect. But that’s just how I see it.

The thing is Josh, we werent complaining about Pereira being the main event, we were complaining about Jamahal being the main event and we were absolutely right for that, it was a complete mismatch Jamahal got obliterated didnt put up anything that reminded of a fight. To put that fight as the main event instead of Max and Gaethje was moronic.

And the other crazy thing was that the guys from TNT sport talked about Jamal could not fight good becuse he had a broken toe. At list you two are honest and for me Big John is a legend. Trevor Wittman is one of the best coaches biggest reason why he couldnt change justin is that Max Holloway had a game plan and he was winning there isnt enough time in between rounds that a coach can capitalize on, all you can do at that moment is tell Justin what you see and how he can make it better but you arent going to do enough tactical thinking in between rounds and whe Gaethje was KOd Trevor was smiling because he was proud of Max
