I went to DMU and graduated there in 2012. I lived round the corner from that Big John's in a student house near Bede Park. It is go to student food from there, and for the price not bad value for money! I was in there all the time when I couldn't be arsed to cook, which was like at least 4/5 days a week 🤣

I used to live on the next road along from that Big Johns when I was at uni 10 years ago. It’s bloody good value and caters well to all the students around the area, we used to get many a good meal from there, especially the first week they opened when all the food was half price!

When I was on the vans at ups I did LE5 round for a bit and after I’d finished my round I treated my self to dinner at big john’s at the bottom of Humberstone road and it tasted like absolute arse and was horrible, bare in mind this was 6 years ago and they hadnt been open long but still I’ve never been back to one.

A regular burger meal for £5 is well worth it! I think some people expect a gourmet burger like from Boo Burger for that kind of price which ain’t gonna happen. This review made me so hungry. Wrong time to watch it as I started my diet today. Finally stood on the scales, lockdown wasn’t good but the lockdown meals sure were 😂
