I'm a 32 year old middle class white guy and I feel this so fucking hard. I know this is literal for a lot of people, but the message behind this song is so huge and applies to everyone on this earth. We need to do better, stay connected and take care of each other. We can only get to the end of this together. Thank you Krit, for reminding me "If it ain't made with love then it ain't fit to serve "💙

Too many sleep on him but the larger point is his message... we need to get this going again. I remember them days, when everybody got together for Sunday dinner. EVERYBODY, all the church folk, the young cousins and uncles who "know too much" to go to church anymore, the gay relatives that swear they just friends with whoever, the family fiends, the retired players... all of them under one roof, house be hot as hell "all them people" but smelling amazing. Just come together, no negativity and enjoying each others company... loving on one another. We gotta get back to it!

As always, his story-telling capabilities go beyond the mold of modern Hip-Hop. His classic, and arguably timeless, approach to his personal tracks only make his content even more relatable. The moments and emotions portrayed in this video are ones that now come few and far between; more importantly the idea that the simple segments of our lives can often turn into ever-lasting memories in the company of our loved ones. The moments we often take for granted. Needless to say, I personally do miss the soul food of my teenage years.

One of my absolute favorites. I love Big Krit. His music is simply amazing and completely takes me away every time. I love the poetry, rhythm, stories and words in his music. K.R.I.T, I hope you see this. The way you capture the stark differences of innocence and what life is like when we have grown older is something this world will only realize later. Your music is a bright shining star in this sad commercial area that hip-hop has become these days. I think it's clear that you're aware of how fucking soulful you are, and what that soul brings to music. The words you weave, the beats you produce, the tracks you grace us with, they're all beautiful. I'm almost glad that you don't have the commercial success that some of these kids out here have, because you're worth so much more than that. You are truly a King Remembered In Time.
