As thick as that is, I could see that saber grind making chopping more difficult than it needs to be. In my experience, a blade like that will catch the material to be chopped with the shoulder of that grind and cause it to skate into the material at a weird angle or just bounce off altogether.

Really hard to beat this company. They make a hell of a knife for the price. I don't understand why overseas companies can make knives cheaper using steel from another country. Yet America with American steel cost 2 times to 3times the price. I remember thinking $200 was crazy for a fixed blade. Nowadays they run $350-400 an in many cases. The worst part many foreign knives are better all the way around. Except to fanboys and trolls.

Nothing about this knife make sense for an everyday Joe to get it. Except: it looks soo f*ckin' cool, that you simply cannot resist to get one. And for what to use? Well, life and situation brings you the tasks. If you handy enough you will do anything with that as well (okay, skinning small game is not what I think you can do it properly, but usual everyday and survival tasks would be fine with it). And the full black stonewashed is very tacticool!

This design is an over kill by anyone’s standards. I guess it’ll float somebody’s boat, not a soldier, or someone looking for a defensive knife, maybe a wall hanger for a mall ninja. Perhaps a fun backyard knife.
@WeAllJuggleKnives2 ай бұрын
People seem to like that it is similar to GI Tanto but thicker and better steel. But yeah, if the GI Tanto had not been so popular, a lot of those same people might not have liked this one, and I think the GI tanto was popular at first because of its low price, and it is interesting how this knife is expensive but some of that popularity is still rubbing off on it. All Lengren knives will be over the top though, a lot of them are based on Miller Brothers.
