Ahh ivo san you are blessing us with a taste of Japan hopefully not too long before you are able to go again 🙏🏼 All the koi are awesome but I'm a huge fan of single colour and that karashigoi at the start is fantastic also that male sanke from yamamatsu koi farm but the aka matsuba from marusei (hirasawa) is outstanding 👌🏼. Sander and ivo thanks again for sharing and hopefully both of you will make some more videos together in the near future 👍🏼🎏

Omg the goshiki with Maruten on its head is superb. That second aka matsuba scales looks so clean and the head is so clean. Didn’t know these smaller farms from Japan are really picking up in breeding quality koi.

Mr. Koi Partner, please make a guideline for "how to select a good variety combination for one pond." we've been watched a lot about Koi as an individual but not as a unite, would like to know 'a good variety combination' from your perspective. 🤔 I've been mixed some variety randomly to my pond and it's a mess up of colors. 🤨😂 hahaha

The "dot on the head" fish is a Kin matsuba, since there is hikari, unlike the aka matsuba which is "matte" color

Can they survive winter in Maine USA? I have a large pond we put in 20yrs ago. Just some pond lilies no fish. Water is nice and there's a spring that keeps the pond pretty full,
