Big Male Jaguar Catches Crocodile

The brute strength and massive bite force of a large male jaguar are a lot to deal with if you are a caiman in the Pantanal. This caiman, like so many before it, was no match for the skill and strength of this jaguar. He is one of the large dominant male jaguars in the area, and he was kind enough to put on a real show for the safari guests that were lucky enough to see him in action.

I really wish you'd not call a caiman a crocodile. They're separated by more years of evolution than a jaguar and us.

For sure, but we have not evolved enough as a species to (on average) know the difference between a caiman and a crocodile.

It’s kind of embarrassing for the caiman to be killed by a cat that can not only swim well, but is less adapted to water environments than them and is able to kill them with one bite on their own terf.
