No we are not. If anything we get the most attention bruh. 99% of Korean artists appreciate us the most because they don't expect us to like their music. This is the vibe I always get. Artists usually feel validated when we do like their music. People low-key look for our approval.

@@deyblu5044 well that hasn't been my experience nor I have i seen many artists show love specifically to their Black women fan base as a demographic. I've seen artists show love to an individual fan on a call or during a hitouch or something like that. I do agree that some seek Black approval. Of course they would and Dumb and BM touched on that a bit.

Thanks for having BM on your podcast! It was certainly entertaining! I have some opinions on certain points: 21:40 He mentioned it as a fun story but in my opinion thats getting se*** harassment... what is the difference compared to guys who send unriquired di**k pics to women they don't know? 23:58 BM's and DFD's reasoning might have some truth, but it also means that us who love groups like KARD are wired differently! And that's what led him and the group have a grown audience. During ICKY era they said because they're coed they could pull that concept like no other. I personally think if BM debuted in a boygroup, he wouldn't been the way he is now interacting with fans through SNS and the type of lyrics he writes now.

I am a black K-pop fan that loves R&B and Hip Hop (90s and early 2000s mostly), but I prefer K-pop music with Korean language because I find the language beautiful. I feel like too many K-pop companies are trying to appeal to the west and get random collabs that don't make sense, it is taking away from the art of K-pop music. The lyrics do not always carry the same meaning and emotion once it is translated from Korean to English. It feeds the white Western narrative that English is superior to other languages. I hope that Korean will remain in K-pop for future gens.
