Katakuri vs luffy was one of the closest fights in my opinion because it was all because Katakuri stabbed himself that he lost. Even when luffy gained snake man he was still getting his ass beat cause Katakuri was faster and his df let him dodge hits still and that's why I love that fight you sometimes get a feeling Luffy might actually lose. I don't care what anyone says, Katakuri should NOT HAVE LOST HIS FIGHT. Even though its my favourite fight in One Piece, I still believe that it's the fight with the biggest plot armour. I'm starting to believe that Katakuri lost the fight becuase he got tired as Luffy kept getting slept over an over and over and over and over and over and over again until Katakuri went down once. Atleast with Kaido, he literally wanted to die an honourable death and he decided that dying to JoyBoy would be good enough but Katakuri was actually trying to knock him but he would not go down and after getting beaten like 10 times luffy finally decides to use his fastest form which made no sense since he should've used that form after the second time he got knocked out.
