Amy, there is always something new and weird to discover when DIY types have been at it😁. I am a 60 year old carpenter and every year I come across bizarre repairs/choices that I have not seen before. Those slip on plastic fittings are great for water pipe repairs, aren’t they? Keeps everyone’s temperature down! Keep up the good work. Cheers from NZ🇳🇿. P.S. If you want 2500kg tie down straps that are shorter than the typical 5 metre length, your best bet is to locate a UK manufacturer, as opposed to someone who imports their straps (by the thousand) from China. I say this, because the only brand here in NZ which provides shorter full-size straps is our sole local maker, Aerofast. The founder started by inventing a cam lock strap system for tying motorcycles onto pickup trays and trailers. The conventional ratchet tie down straps were a later introduction.

Amy, have you never seen this method of joining pipes. What was done was to heat 1/2 pipe with a burning newspaper. Then push in 1/2 copper. Put on a jubilee clip at each time and tighten. My father did connections like that all over the farm. It was a cheaper way of working when money was tight. We have connections done 50 years ago (in Ireland) in good condition.

I can't compete with you on graded surfaces I see, I guess I have "blacksmith fingers" when it comes to fine work🙈 But it's inspiring to see how you work now that I've started with smaller machines so there are similar jobs I have to do, and I have to inspire the younger drivers in the company who have just started now that I am approaching "midlife crisis"😄👍 I can check if there are concrete saws for external hydraulics for export here in Norway, we have used asphalt grinders, but not sure about concrete saws.

Welderfabber on here showed a device for lifting with excavators that might be of interest. It goes in the hitch and has a hook that hangs freely when the hitch is curled all the way.

I'm with you, artic's are so much easier to drive than a rigid 6 wheeler, they are far manoeuvrable especially when reversing. Unfortunately this year due to ill health, I am after holding my HGV 1 licence for 40 years am having to give it up. And don't put yourself down for multi tasking, your a woman, it's what gives you the edge over us simple men. I've tried to multi task and it didn't work!😂🤣🤗👍

How do you find the Kubota's compared to takeuchi's? I always find the kubota is lacking in power and stability up to 9 ton. Also get yourself some plasson water fittings to keep in your truck, they're the best around and will fit anything, I use them all the time. And a pair of pipe cutters are easier and quicker than a saw. Great video
