Learning French will not help. Believe me this is just a game the government is playing as they already know Indian students can never reach to the level of French to get hired. Kids here study French immersion from grade 3 and still it’s hard for them to be 100% like the kids in Quebec and Ottawa where the people around you also speak French and not just in school and some place just in the classes. This a game Canadian government is playing to send all these students protesting here. Canadian are super mad as these students are not even citizens and behaving like this, government is thinking about the future if these become citizens, Canada will really go down the drain as it’s already going down.

It just depends if you can find work and their is not a lot of it in Canada anymore. That is biggest issue so its risky because you might finish your studies and not get a work visa. And our advantage was they payed us a lower wage so they wouldn't hire Canadians but now they're being forced to pay a Canadian wage so now they'll just hire Canadian again
