Congratulations. Really appreciate your effort. I have plenty of sunshirts etc, but have been looking for shorts. I have been kayak fishing lately and love how stealthy it allows me to be when fishing shallower water. It is not only moving with a quiet Mirage drive but also with a low approaching profile. I believe bass with their eyes high on their bodies always see above the water. My current light-gray kayak is a big improvement but I am considering spray painting some light blue in spots on the bottom almost like the shirt and cap you wore in this video. Which brings me to my long-winded point. True fishing shorts would come in 2 colors. Horizontal blue camo for standup anglers, (in the same direction as your shirt). And, vertical blue camo for kayakers so when sitting the pattern is parallel to the water/kayak. Pants and/or convertible pants would help kayakers who get more sun.

Future idea for you. convertible shorts/ pants. The few brands that are on the market are complete trash when it comes to their thread and seams.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but pants that separate into shorts have been thought up, designed, manufactured and sold. I had a pair in 7th grade that zipped on and off. I loved those shants!

@ the north face, Columbia, Patagonia convertible short/ pants that I have are poor quality. I would be willing to spend nearly $200 on a good pair if they wouldn’t fall apart at the seems due to poor stitching.

I have a true story for you. I have been bass fishing for about 8 years. About 3 years ago I purchased your black fitted bass hat. In the time between purchasing your hat and now I have officially caught more largies while wearing your hat than all the fish I have previously caught put together. Kudos on your shorts endeavor Tyler. One of the problems with being older like me, is that you don't wear clothes out as quickly as you do when you're younger. I still help my son on the farm in Indiana and I wear shorts from April til October. I have a tremendous number of shorts presently, but when I need to update, I will surely consider your fine product!

Any recommendations on detergent to wash them with? I noticed that new fishing pants will typically have that "water" resistant feature but after one or two wash, they no longer are water resistant and start soaking in water.

Those look awesome! I usually wear hybrid board shorts, but these look like a huge upgrade with water resitantness...purchased! Long UPF pants would be awesome at some point too.

Hi Tyler, just some constructive criticism/suggestion. I like my fishing shorts/pants to have a pliers pocket or two something I can have a tool or two handy, especially on those days where you have to weed through a lot of smaller fish.

Will the shorts stay water resistant even after washing many times? Also do you make multiple lengths? I like them on the shorter side.

They are a 9” inseam which is kinda a happy medium between short and longer. That’ll sit above the knee cap. I plan on having even shorter versions at some point but had to start somewhere

Anyone who has run a small business or has run a small business in the past knows that any product line expansion is a huge deal. Especially a product line expansion into a brand new line of items is a monumentally huge freaking deal. Since Tyler owns his own business and he is expanding into a completely new line of products, he has every reason in the world (and every right) to use every way of publicizing he has at his disposal to reach his target demographic (that's all of us viewers/anglers, just to be perfectly clear). Like everyone else is saying, if you don't like the title or if you have any other problems with the way the man is running his own business, then feel free to seek your free fishing information/entertainment videos elsewhere, and please do have a pleasant day. Now, with that being said, (yes, Tyler, I say that phrase as well), I am looking forward to checking out the new items that FINN fishing has available.
