I know just a bit about ASL and have been learning Korean for a while. Isn't there a kind of pattern of setting a topic in ASL that's similar to using the "topic particle"? I always assumed that feature of Korean would be less confusing to those who know some ASL. The linguistic similarity is really interesting to me! Makes me wonder if there are other languages that mark a topic.
