I love this build. First expansion ever doing any pvp. I usually only ever to pve and this was so easy to learn for a beginner like me. I would usually just get man handled in pvp. I had no idea how to respond when I’d get beat on. This has actually made me a decent competitor. I’m no expert by any means, but this awesome to play. Feels so good when the “meatballs” fly.

with the earth shield and lightning shield i find the shield surge pvp talent really usefull because it will knock them back and root them and you will still have another root from totem, freeze and slow.

Nice, I am running a very similar build but I also pick up ascendence proper, along with DRE leggo. You can get your flameshocks/primo wave out then ascend for one pop, prim wave for another to get rolling quick. Also get more lava burst dam from your crit through ascend

Hey Tiqqle, Im currently sitting at 2.1k rating on soloq with my ele sham. Running a Fiery Demise + deeply rooted elemtents build with necrolord covenant. Let me tell you that flame shock is 25% of my dmg every game and people just melt. Give it a try! Feeling SUPER good with huge bursts and no setup needed. Thanks me later, is so much fun.

Now that Earth elemental doesn't have hardened skin I feel compelled to skip primal elementalist. Having it for fire elemental alone doesn't justify taking it as it does not do enough damage. That said, pre-patch is only a few more days so I'd love to see a level 70 build 👍

It was actually fairly strong with the SkyBreaker's Legendary, could have close to 50% up time on fire elemental in a 3s game which would do 2k dps and its meteor hit for an aoe 15k every minute. Not certain with DF coming next week if it'll be any good though with everyone losing legendaries

It's great in bgs. Makes dealing with melee alot easier. Cast ice fury then the rest of your casts are instant and hit like a truck
