My Grandpa took my brother and myself fishing on Lake Erie when I was younger.. I remember catching our limit on Perch and also brining them in two at a time with a high low rig!

I always have a plan B lol. I also always make sure to pack extra rods because you never know what you could run into on a Great Lake!

Im jealous of that perch action. A good morning for me is 5-8 perch that are 8-12 inches. I only get into them like this ice fishing a mile out on lake huron, if i get lucky. Can wait to get out there to sight fish the perch and whitefish. Keep slaying them Ave.

we've had some good luck perch fishing this summer... i usually don't get good days like this one either! ive never fished huron but would love to one day... especially for white fish.

Averie, have you tried the BFS rigs out yet? I have pretty much got rid of all my spinning gear and use BFS for everything almost. Today I was catching large bluegill on 5lb. Sniper and a 1/8th oz. Blakemore Roadrunner. Just something special about catching fish on ultra light bait casting gear. Try it and you will see what I mean. Enjoyed your video!!

Yes, even the larger ones seem quite small. The one at 11:50 is a good size, though.

@@antonboludo8886 a "nice" perch is 9 inches or more. Many keep 7 inchers. I myself keep all over 8 when perching. A 15 incher is a trophy worth mounting. My best in 20 yrs is a 14.5. It was so old, it had no detectable teeth left. Completely smooth gums.

If you run out of minnows, use a white jig, or cut a strip off a perch and try on the hook.

I always love to see our younger generation enjoying the great outdoors. Although HOW TF could anyone fish with those crazy nails on? Also, she is dressed for clicks, not skin protection. SCREW FASHION and start caring about your health. How many men do you see out fishing that is not wearing UPF fishing shirts with hoods or a neck gator, gloves, and the whole 9 yards? Also, KZbin and FB should have regulations on what underage girls can wear on camera. I hope this doesn't come off as negative, but one of my best fishing friends already survived skin cancer and we take it very seriously.

lol do you ever go to the beach? have you ever heard of sunscreen? and yes i do care about my health and i wanted to wear a swimsuit because it was HOT OUT. i have family friends who have been diagnosed with skin cancer and as you can see i am a pale ginger… so yes i take my health very seriously and also why are you so concerned about what i wear as an underage girl. i am a young adult, that is 18 in less than a month i can choose what i want to wear. sometimes i wear sweats when i’m fishing and sometimes i wear swimsuits. so yes please take your negativity elsewhere thanks
