I fished the Dunnville dam a ton in the summer I actually never thought about ice fishing down there, It looks Fun. I know lake Nipissing alittle Far from there but its well worth the trip all the outfitters are awesome up there we were just up there with snowfari and they're great limited out plus got a PB of a 29 inch, imo if you're gonna make the trek its worth it to aim for early ice when they're still super active. Rice lake is also an okay place. and Simcoe is starting to produce Walleye again the numbers are growing. if you want to trek further bay of quinte is producing monsters lately.

Were you guys there this past weekend (Jan 25/26) or was this the weekend before? Anyone we talked to out on the ice this weekend was either skunked or like a single nibble or two, either way that big one alone made the trip worth it for you guys

You should try dropshotting with a small lifebait like 12 inches from the bottem worm39 hook size 2! It's the best way to catch walleye where i live!

Awesome work ladies, it’s about time we have a real winter that formed some solid ice conditions for a change. Here in southern WI this will be the first winter in 2 years I actually got out ice fishing. I was catching Walleyes open water at the Rock River last winter on New Years Eve, and I was open water fishing in 72 degrees and a tshirt for Milwaukee Brown Trout last Feb 27th. None of the ice was safe enough to get me out there last winter . So I am finally heading out on ice this week for a few trips, feels good ! Nice walleyes you girls caught, awesome jigging them up, much more fun than tipups although I love seeing the flags going up! Good luck fishing 🎣 👍🏼

Glad to hear you're finally getting on the ice in Wisconsin! Hopefully it stays frozen there for ya. It’s been the first winter in like 3 years for us which is absolutely insane. Last year in January I was fishing open water too on the St. Claire river for Walleye. Thanks for watching! Tight lines to you!
