Love the stuff you guys are doing! Have no idea why you don't have more subs yet, but KZbin is weird I guess.

You know, we often wonder that too - but - we're just happy and thankful for the subs we DO have - like yours! Thanks so much Kristian!

I love you guys, but you have *got* to lower the volume / normalize your outro sting (19:45) in your videos. Blows my eardrums out every single time.

I really think you guys should try to collab with other wine youtubers to get a bigger audience. Honestly it really surprised me how long it took to find you because I have been looking for and watching blind tasting content on yt for almost a year and you guys only popped up for me a few months ago, despite the amazing content and high production quality. I think the algo is skipping you guys for some odd reason

We think so too! Any recommendations?! Perhaps it's because we're from Australia?? Thanks for the comment, at least we're not the only ones that are confused by this!

@@wineforthepeople If I had to guess there are a few things I'd consider: 1. A lot of wine content is labelled as x vs y, can experts tell the difference? So old world new world, cheap - expensive, natty conventional. So maybe somebody could coordinate with SometimesAlways to have the tastings be a bit more themed, and you could add in certain wines yourselves. 2. A lot of wine content is educational so Guide to lesser known varieties of Northern Italy or something(Not in podcast format). 3. Tips and Tricks: How to order wine at x restaurant, how to store wine, when to decant etc. 4. An issue may be that the wines on your show are mostly only available in Ozzy, even the European ones except the biggest brands are very hard to find. Honestly though I deeply love your content as it is but maybe some more educational value or themes/experiments to the tastings would make it more approachable and focused for newer viewers(wine noobs) as it may seem a bit random right now. Again personally I think you have great personalities for the camera and amazing chemistry and you will gain success eventually regardless.

@@itsmederek1 thank you so much for all these ideas! We're currently working on a new vid that'll come out in the next month or so. Perhaps that might change things a little?

Strange. One commits to varietal and region. One finds faults. And the other doesn't commit.

@@wineforthepeople suggesting its a good panel. I would recommend you try to guess what each wine is as a concensus of sorts. "So what do you think it is, varietal, country?*
@wineforthepeople Жыл бұрын
@@1949cr Oh! Thanks! That would certainly be fun to do! The thing about guessing identity of a wine is that it's never really impressive - if we all nail it, and guess correctly, we just look like wankers. If we stuff it up, then we look like idiots - we're happy to look like both wankers, and idiots (no issue there!) - but it rarely speaks to the quality of the wine, which is what we're really about: finding great quality, at great prices, and removing bias. Whether or not we can identify the wine blindly doesn't really deliver a comment as to the inherent quality of the wine, just the aptitude of the taster.
@1949cr Жыл бұрын
@@wineforthepeople I think they're is a serious tasting lesson when you look at how experienced drinkers at least nail varietals.
