I think they are relying on attracting new fans. I think there are a lot of people curious to see something new. The continuity of the league depends on how well they market it. In my opinion they should market the league through anime because anime is very popular in these areas.

Probably 10 years from now, MLB will play either exhibition games or regular season games in the Middle East, the same way they have done in East Asia and the Caribbean.

If the other teams in Saudi arabia are outside Al-Riyadh they will be in Jeddah, Abha , Neom or AL-Dammam I highly expect Jeddah because Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi arabia like NYC and LA in the US

Westerners underestimate the popularity, passion and cultural significance of cricket in India and Pakistan. Hence the round-robin. It will be a tough sell to have games anywhere outside of UAE or KSA.
