So the difference between hatz v2 and hatz v2 is just in the controls, not the sound circuits?

Hatz v3: Differences from v2 1. The envelope slope has been subtly modified to be slightly more clicky and snappy. 2. The closed hat now features a long decay control. 3. The choke function can now be toggled on or off using a switch. 4. The texture control has been scaled to provide a more useful LFSR noise LFSR is a method of generating pseudo-random noise used in synthesizers. This noise can vary widely in its sound characteristics, producing anything from soft, subtle textures to harsh, chaotic sounds. Because LFSRs are sensitive, small adjustments can drastically change the noise's sound. Without scaling, the control might produce too many extreme or undesirable sounds (e.g., overly harsh or unbalanced noise). By scaling, the range of the slider is limited to only produce noise that fits well in a musical context

What was the sequencer being used? Is that a prototype?

Yeah that's a prototype trigger sequencer from Patching Panda that's set for release next year. Not sure when though.
