Yes Ramy is bigger in most respects in most shots, but Andrew is so much more balanced and his muscle bellies have so much more pop. Such a subjective comparison! I’d give it to Andrew but it’s really apples and oranges, imho.

Unpopular opinion but I think Ramy looked so much better before he started filling his quads with SEOs or whatever he did to alter them. He looked more balanced and had better conditioning. I cannot fathom how he managed to win so many Olympias with meat sacks hanging off his legs and sub par conditioning. It destroyed the balance in his physique and with the exception of his back, made everything else look small in comparison. I'll take Andrew over Ramy any day of the week. Ramy gets so much praise becsuse he appealed so much to casuals and people who think mass is everything in bodybuilding.

Andrew wins in aesthetics, abs and back details, very close elsewhere except triceps and forearms, where ramy eats him but mainly because of andrews subpar insertions…. Legs of course goes to ramy but surprisingly close, Andrew needs to learn to flex his glutes while holding poses… All in all Andrew would be a worthy mr Olympia but should work on his arms and a little bit more legs without loosing his lines and improve posing slightly especially side poses…

Dude, Andrew Jacked is not "holding his own" with Ramy in this version's front lat... Also, does anyone else notice how Andrew's arms look arguably bigger / similarly sized to Ramy in the front double @0:29, but they look shrimpy and pathetic compared to Ramy's arms in the most muscular @9:00? Honestly, this version of Ramy takes almost every shot (I think you can make an argument for him in every shot, even the abs and thigh). It's amazing how insane he was.

if only Ramy could have figured out his conditioning that much sooner, when his physique was still as fresh and complete as it was back in 2015. Would have been a multiple-time olympia competing against the all-time greats for sure. By default he wins the FDB, FLS and A&T against Phil. Side chest and BLS are very close, I would personally give Ramy the side chest but Phil the RLS. Phil wins the side tricep, most muscular and RDB. A conditioned Ramy with his body parts intact would have always been a 4-4 against Phil with it possibly going either way.

I agree, but I also think Ramy got under-placed in his first few shows, purely because he was new. It seems to take time for groupthink to coalesce among the judges when a new guy hits the scene, which is a shame. I love Jay Cutler but placing him above Ramy in 2013 struck me as absurd back then, and even more so in retrospect.

In a pure bodybuilding contest big ram rod runs wild all over Andrew, but I want to know when bodybuilding became a contest of size and conditioning. It started off with deciding who has the best looking body and Andrews physique is much more appealing to the eye. Maybe we should go back to the old ways, don't think too many people would have a problem with Andrew being the gold standard and winning the big O. I for one would love to see more physiques like Andrews on the stage.

I really like andrews physique but things become really difficult if we start judging bodybuilders by appeal alone because thats a very subjective criteria. Some people (myself for example) would prefer to look like dorian instead of shawn. Conditioning, Size and Shape are objectiv and cant be denied. Best thing would be if they somehow factored all those things into their judging but until then its gonna be really difficult for a beautiful physique like andrews to come close to the current top 3 and their grainy mass...
