BIG Redfish Fishing in Aransas Bay

This video is one of three days we spent fishing over the fourth of July weekend. First day was decent with some 15-18 in trout and three or four keeper redfish. This day we got some decent trout early on topwater but then as the water started to heat up the fish moved offshore. We transitioned to a small grass flat behind a large island where I caught that BIG redfish at the end of the video. In that area my dad also caught a nice 4.5 lb trout. We spent the rest of the day fishing some different areas but only caught some small trout. It was a fun day overall and over my three days of fishing this was my biggest red I caught. The next day I caught a nice 25 in 5lb redfish which I sight casted tailing. I didn't have the camera for that day but I have some additional footage on my instagram @wct_outdoors.
