Great video! I leave my Christmas decorations up through January 6th….the Day of Epiphany. I completely understand the overwhelming feeling of a large task. Sherri I went through the same experience with my mama , but she was calmer and I kept her home with me, as you know. New Year’s Day will be 3 years since she quietly slipped away holding my daughters hand. I have felt like an orphan since. Happy New Year Sherri. I told my husband that although I love our holiday time, I need to tone it down next year. We have a open house on Christmas Day and it takes me a full month to prepare. It was fabulous, but I felt a bit resentful and exhausted. I just packed the dining room and kitchen today. The rest of the house will wait a few more days.

I agree with the others about my Mom putting in so much effort to make sure the holidays were exceptional for the kids - even after we were adults. But I must say that all you accomplished in this video would take me weeks to do. Even now, way after Christmas, my tree is untouched and still standing proud. I truly enjoy your video! I love how you show us everything that you do, and say. You keep things real! As I was watching you clean your shades and windows. What do you spray on your windows, as I struggle finding a good clean & streak free window cleaner. Please be careful with those air freshener plug ins. They can cause severe health issues with animals and fires in homes. Just wanted you to give you heads up as my girlfriend had a dog that started having bad breathing issues along with skin issues and her vet mention to her about the plug ins. You have so much energy to give to your home and wished I did! I love seeing what this next year that you have planned! Happy New Year! 🎆 ❤
