It's important to realize that retconning is a George Lucas specialty. Darth Vader killed your father, i mean, he is your father. No, there is another, I mean, Leia is your twin sister. Hans, I mean, Greedo, shot first. Sick of fans with their heads in the sand. Wake up. Retconning is part of Star Wars it's been there since 1980. Here's another retcon deom the prequels that seems to have gone over everyone's head. Always two there are, a master and an apprentice. Next movie, the Sith have been extinct for a thousand years. What part of "always" does nobody understand? LMFAO at Star Wars fans.

The problem with the Ren theory is that the sequel trilogy absolutely wasted the Knights of Ren. Abrams/Kennedy/Johnson had no cohesive story to tell. They assumed, wrongly, that Star Wars fans were about action and ‘gotcha’ moments. Wrong. Can we get the Godzilla Minus Zero folks to reimagine the sequel trilogy????

While I agree that the Knights of Ren were indeed wasted, we have also seen many cool Star Wars characters get offed pretty anticlimactically in the movies only to come back in other projects even better than before and solidify themselves as beloved characters. Think about Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Jango Fett, General Grievous, most of the Jedi Council. I think it’s possible to make the Knights of Ren, or at least their lore somewhat cool.

I was like… “WOW”, when I saw on SW channel Amandla playing the violin, the song sounded so beautiful on that solo. About the theory, I don’t know if the masked character could be a Ren or not, but we need to remember not only Ren’s wear a mask, Nihil does too. So could be Knights of Ren a subgroup that was formed from Nihil? Another thing, Sith don’t use a mask as a mandatory uniform, Sidous doesn’t, and if I recall Plagueis neither.

Yeah, it's getting ridiculous. I have my own very critical views on Disney Star Wars but honestly it's what we got and that's how the industry works. Plus, you know, these same people whining about Disney star wars are still watching the shows and the movies and reading the books all the same. If you want to watch something then watch it. There's no need to submit to the opinions of random people on the Internet especially ones who didn't even exist when the first movie came out. Recently I've had a few trolls basically claiming they're "true fans" but they're all random pieces of shit who weren't there from the beginning and for some reason they feel some sense of ownership of the franchise. I feel like Master Indara has something going on that leads to the attack. Perhaps she was close to finding this Knight of Ren and as a challenge, the twin is sent to take her out. The flashbacks will probably reveal something about Indara that the Jedi did not know. I’m excited for this show, and looking forward to see what they do!

Palpatine said that Plagueis said he could keep the ones he loved from dying, what if the masked sith is the original Snoke and he was kept alive for Palpatine to take his genes and clone him, adapting him to be taller (fulfilling canon that Snoke is strandcast) and this links sequel… it’s perverse that palps would use a puppet in Snoke which was originally a rival predecessor of the Sith line. Just a thought
