Hey Bryan, I have the same kit, thanks for paving the road for us that have this kit. We need a lot of patience when building these kits. Vaughn

YES YES YES they are quite a challenge. A good amount of guessing and FFFRRRIIIck frack words used. You have a great start with all the sub assembly, the hard part seams to be just about over.
@BGsModelWorkshop5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ron. I wasn't thinking about it that way, but you're right! Now for paint and and finale assembly 😊

I am struggling with this kit right now, so many thanks for all your tips. It looks like you glued the wheel flanges to the wheels before fitting the tyres. Is this correct? Thanks again.
@BGsModelWorkshop Жыл бұрын
I believe that's right. It seemed to be easier to do it that way other than try to glue it with the tire in place.
@chrish.8241 Жыл бұрын
@BGsModelWorkshop Yes, I think so too. Many thanks.

Laugh at that little chair that's what we had on the passenger side,alot of us took the seat out to put a tool box water jug etc that enguine was before the turbos was a 290 Cummins originally they were actualy red the later 335 etc were tan.
@ramblers695 жыл бұрын
It's just very old tooling, much like the dragsters, you have to have a lot of patience, lol, :)

Yeahhhhhh, i started the dragster today....mostly the word "seriously" was uttered.

Yea, everyone SRS to be building that extra-hard, extremely difficult, Frick n crack Freightliner from Round 2. When I was a kid, ( about around the age you saw in the photo of the Ice Patrol) 🐿, I built a cabover Peterbilt. Doesn't Round 2 have the Peterbilt cabover out? Or is it only Frick an track Freightliner? Just wondering? So the hard part is done? C-ya Bry. God Bless you n have a safe weekend too. Frick n frack Freightliner? Oh well...🐿 Peace my friend. T4, out.
@BGsModelWorkshop5 жыл бұрын
Ha! Frick n fracking cracking freightliner lol. Seems "the Captain" might be building the Peterbuilt.

Wow our kits are very similar; however, I lucked out as my cab is all one piece with no rivits on the roof. SAVE THE RIVITS!!! If I do this next year there is no way I'll do another AMT

Shpoo poo I spelled rivet wrong, I knew I should have checked LOL
