I'm damn proud & impressed with your catch of "wild" canal, caster caught roach Jon! .... it takes a proper angler to catch 5lb of those in 3hours! .... it's far more admirable, than catching 50lb of "silly dopey fish" on an overstocked commercial, by an angler who'd probably dry net on a challenging canal 😉 .... I'm probably gonna get hater, stalker, violence threats for saying that 😨 lol ❤

@JonArthur3 жыл бұрын
Try both. Generally going much further overdepth and slowing it down is best with bigger baits. With squatts, bread and pinkies you can sometimes just run it at the fish. It's always difficult when it's going back and forth though.

@JonArthur3 жыл бұрын
You can get universal kits but I would always go for the kist designed for your pole, so you need to contact Maver or a Maver stockist. Side pullers are a definite advantage on stillwaters, but you can also use pull bungs if you don't have them.
