Cheers matey some corkers in there when they move in, issue i had in the end was the fish taking the snumber 8 shots and missed loads of bites i have never really fished with corn where if you missed a bite the corn was gone or a shell come back.

Great net of fish dan good instruction on how to bait the swim and when to change hook baits i learn something every time I watch your vids mate and I've been fishing for over 50 years not done much fishing the last few years but hope to get back into it again soon don't get me started on dog walkers mate most of them are fine but like in all walks of life you get the odd mad one look forward to your next vid dan 👍

thank you so much peter that comment has put a right smile on my face after a pretty rough week, appreciate that as i do try and cover as much as i can about the how and why in the blogs as i know the location is the part i can not always share. Funny sory re this session and dog walkers, i actually heard a woman shout her dog to come out of the water and in all my years fishing i have never heard someone shout there dog and include its second name! "Charlie Evans will you come out of the water immediately," nearly fell in with laughter :-) tight lines matey danny

Nice net of fish Danny, never seen anyone on this side stand in the water like that to fish. I understood Hemp, maggots, but what was the hookbait you where using Tash ??
@DannysAnglingBlog6 жыл бұрын
Tares matey they are like a small pea and soft but hard enough stay on hook, when the fish come onto the hemp they just see it as a big piece of hemp i guess, bites are really fast and does take some getting your eye in but whehn you do, the fish you get are always bigger

great days fishing for you eh mate.all me years of fishin never ever tried them tares thinkin of tryin then in a feeder with sweetcorn in groundbait next time ime out .as regards the security of your tackle and other gear its seems to be a problem round our way now schools out.i know its not all kids but when u got 3or4 lads milling round you it takes all your time not to be distracted by them eh mate and we dont want to be forever putting tackle away and getting it out when theyve gone eh mate.
@DannysAnglingBlog6 жыл бұрын
No matey amd being kneww deep in water you are not catching up with them, on the day main concern was the tackle box, the holdall only had bank sticks in as i had removed all my other stuff. I fish with hemp a lot as see on channel but never really us it as bait or tares so was a learning session for me, all i would say was the bites on tares where rapid!! hitting them on the feeder might be hard. Danny

cheers clive, was hard to pack in but felt best with a few lads around me help with net, dealing with a nice net and doing it with minimal disturbance to the fish is always more important

Great net of Roach there Danny and all those Roach you caught seemed a nice stamp thats a good lake you fished there. Just wanted to ask why did you wade out so far and not just fish from the bank? also were you putting your tares and corn direct on the hook?
@DannysAnglingBlog6 жыл бұрын
Hi matey thank you for taking time to comment, I was putting the corn and tares direct on the hook and only fed a small amout of corn during the s4 hour session just kept feeding the hemp every cast. Re wading out, there is a bank of weed on the inside of where i was casting, the better roach seem to hang past this and to be honest the water is ankle deep a lot of it then it graduaally goes th knee and above deep wading to this point puts you right in this deeper water the whole time if you get me. When the better roach move in its scary how many are there, this net was caught in 4 hours hopefully get a full day on there soon Danny
@cns1807846 жыл бұрын
I see now so well worth wading out to get at those better fish...i take it this is the lake you've fished on the feeder before? looks a nice lake.
@DannysAnglingBlog6 жыл бұрын
yes matey might just be time of year but took 1 cast to get a fish apposed to an hour on feeder to get them going.
