In BC WE HAVE TO LIFT THE OUTBOARD MOTOR BEFORE SHOOTING ANIMALS

We can have the motor in the water In Manitoba. But all mechanical momentum from the boat motor must be stopped. So yea they broke the rules.

Has anyone heard what is going on at Big Sand Lake Lodge? We love the place and have another trip scheduled for June 2019. They took our deposit and have disappeared. They won't answer phones or return messages to take the remaining balance owed. Very odd behavior. We have been trying to contact and pay them for more than a month now.

I'm guessing that's why they're not in business anymore shoot that many moose in the one year that's why the government is closed most of Manitoba down to moose hunting

Randy, that wasn't the problem. This was a management problem between the natives and the people who represented them. For years, they did two different hunts and were nearly 100% success. The resource was definitely sustainable based on what they were doing. We don't work BSLL any more as the communications and follow through cannot be counted on. I'm not willing to send anywhere that I wouldn't go again personally. If the management structure changes, I would gladly go up and do an evaluation trip again for moose and fishing and if it turned out good, I would send people back. As I said, the resource is definitely good.

@@michaeldeming533 yeah sound asleep no one's coming up this year and I used to work for these guys twenty something years ago and it was always bad management but I've also heard being an ex manitoban that they've shut down lots of loose seasons in Manitoba and they're fighting with the natives about the moose quotas
