Most shocks you can't flip unless they say they can, if you flip them and they aren't designed to be flipped it will mess them up

Some shocks like the Fox are designed to have the shaft facing towards the ground. However shocks like the ones on your truck (and mine) are designed to have the shaft facing up, it has something to do with what is in the bodies of the shocks. Fluids can leak out if the shaft is facing down ect..

Thanks bro. I was looking at some earlier today. They filter down to 2 microns just like the other ones. Just longer so they last longer. But I change mine every other oil change regardless so I know I dont need it. Plus I run amsoil all in one for keeping my fuel clean and little more juice in the tank haha

Don’t want to sound like a smart ass but I work at a diesel truck parts store and we are the #1 Donaldson filter distributor in Florida and I’ve been to the Donaldson factory in Minnesota for trainings and they are the OE for Cat. They make them for cat and they just paint them yellow and sell them as their own. Pretty cool seeing Donaldson on your truck. Keep up the good vids.

I think you'd only want to point the shocks downward to keep dirt and grime from getting caked up on them. Since they don't have boots over them, people point them down to keep stuff from building up on them and having them go bad. I think that's the main reason for running them in different positions. I wouldn't worry much about yours because you're down south and don't have snow and salt, and you keep your shit clean and don't take it mudding so I don't see you having any issues with the shocks getting ruined from shit. I like them upwards anyways because it protects them a bit more from being hit and bent up by anything if you do get rowdy in ol' girl.

@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL I ran mine through the door through the gromet (not easy but cleanest correct way) though the cab to blinker. To seperate running and blinker lights i pulled the glass off connected the puddle and front facing light to the heater. So i hit the heater an my front mirror is a running light and puddle lights come on and the blinker in the glass blinks with my blinker
