That horse is very nervous. There is something there that makes it so. I think that in these cases a police officer should be placed who doesn't allow anyone to approach to take photos until the animal calms down. I think it is the crowd of people that makes it so.

The horses are becoming more & more nervous as larger crowds encroach in their space for a photo or try to touch them, I wished they would complete all the alert signage, the pout side the box, don’t touch the horse & all the guards follow the rules. I’m tired of watching the silence from over 50 percent of the guards.😊

Everything was such a big mess because the policemen and the soldiers didn't handle it well, a lot of things going on in the front, and the policemen plus the soldiers were nowhere to be found it took a long time for them to come out to give her assistance. They didn't tell those clueless tourists to step back for their safety and give some space to the horses to calm down lucky the horses didn't run into the crowds.

@@Qaylinhtinh I heard on video I've been around horses my whole life and the very best and those troopers are can't stop half ton of horse that is agitated You tried but you can't fix stupid and people have to be responsible for themselves but they are fixated on "the photo" ignoring the living animal at their own risk

Those responsible for planning security at the House Guard must begin to understand the importance of keeping tourists at bay. In addition to the signs and lines on the ground, I would add fines, which are quite costly, and you will see that there will be a fairly large gap between the horses and the tourists.

An erratic horse but hey anything for a photo. "Big shock and problem, yes it was a problem but "it has never happened many years ago" also could you imagine if the box wasn't there and the horse got surrounded by tourists ? Way too many people grouped together there and probably stressing out the horses.

did you see the 3 horses today were all the same: out of control.. looked tense… and especially both horses at the same time…. the situation was very tense at that time… it is very rare to happen like this

The police tend to converse in a tight little group out of sight of the horses, so they aren’t able to know they are needed. Happens quite often the guard are on their own and idiot tourons run amok…

Oh, it has happened before, trust me 😀With horses from both Regiments. Maybe you haven't seen this before but i have. And it was early in the morning, when not many tourists were around either (it was before the change of the Regiments). That particular box has never been ok for some horses. Some horses, especially those of the Life Guards, don't seem to be very fond of that box😀 (and there are many theories that go around regarding the reasons why). Aside from that particular box, the temperament of the horse is very important as well, and i can tell you that horse, being newer in the Cavalry, has been very jittery and anxious from the very beginning. Same goes for the other two horses from the Blues& Royals Regiment that were on duty today and had jittery behaviour. They are a few years older in the Cavalry than this one, but they are anxious temperaments and easily get spooked by many people.

Auch Pferde haben ein Gedechnis. Sie Vergessen nicht so schnell das jeder sie Antatscht. denn das ist euzerst unangenehm für die Pferde. Es ist nicht nur beim Menschen so. Ich hätte auch keine Lüst das mich immer Fremde Berühren. Ich Denke sie brauchen eine Zeit. Auch sollte man die Regeln durch Setzen!

Most horses have a problem standing still for a solid hour in full kit with a rider. To me it’s animal abuse.

Very unusual for the horses to be so unsettled like that, maybe a ghost was haunting the horse boxes today! The tourists are clueless and stand so close to the stressed out horse.
