Bauke, again proving why he is husband of the year. A morning walk with the horses - wonderful! Uniek, in charge of the safety of the herd, tries to tell the others, “Pick up your pace. That was a nice walk with Uniek, Bjarni and Spidey. Watching Spidey's little hooves hurrying along was cute. He got a bit of a workout. And then we get to visit with the two cuties, Peach and Wunder. I'd like to add a big "hats off" to Bauke. He is so capable and seems to be able and willing to put his hands to anything and everything. Yay, Bauke!

Bjarni is such a handsome fella and for him to have never been riden before, was very calm about Mathilde laying across his back with all her weight!! I never get tired of seeing Spidey! I can't believe how big he is. Every time I see Peach it reminds me of when Spidey was that little! Now we wait for baby Mario. I'm excited to see Glendy as a Mem. Bauke will always be a favorite because of how he faithfully made videos for us during Yvonne's emergency, even though we know he doesn't like being in videos, and even though he had more than enough to handle at the time. I hope he knows how grateful will still are to him. Bjarni is so handsome and sweet. I think he has perfect proportions for a pony, and a perfect temperament. I hope we continue to see him in videos for a long time to come. I'm looking forward to seeing video of Mario's arrival, and later on, Mario and Peach playing together.

Is she one of my favorites? Of course! Nice that Bauke is making a door in tack room for Yvonne. Keep us updated on that. Always good to have someone with handyman skills! I'm a widow since 2013 and my dear hubby was my Mr. Fix it, including electrical and carpentry skills. He also maintained our automobiles. Miss him everyday, but appreciate him while he was here in my life. ❤

I am always amazed at the number of lovely trails, paths, and small roads that seem to run all over Yvonne's part of Friesland. The Country is so well-suited for hikers, bikers, riders and runners. The horses seem to love walking on the pavement, and that is quite nice. Once again, I admired the Queen's "turn". Have you all noticed that when Yvonne turns Queen Uniek around on the road, the Queen takes short, delicate steps, bending her "knees" as she rotates her massive frame? It's just so danged BEAUTIFUL! Bjarni has become a very handsome horse. When asked, Mathilde said that she hasn't ever ridden him. I wonder if she plans to??? Also, what sort of things do Icelandic Horses learn to do? Maybe I'll ask Google later. Spidey is a hoot! I still can't get over his Mohawk hair style. I wonder if his hair will stay like that, or if it will grow longer and lay down one day. Being quite "round" myself, I can't get over the body type of Shetland Ponies. If Spidey wasn't a Colt, I'd think he was pregnant with that round belly of his! 😂 One more thing, . . . I'm sure it's too soon to even try to stand the horses side by side, but I'd love to see the size and height difference between Peach and Wûnder. I know that they aren't the same age, but I'm just curious. Peach looks so different from her Shetland mother, and with her coloring she favors the Friesians even more than she does her Dartmoor Pony dad, Johnny. It's just a thought. Great video! I had fun watching it. What a wonderful way to start my day! 👁❤Friesian 🐎🐎🐎!

I like very much that Peach gets all this loving attention before Mario comes into the world. With Peach well acclimated to her new life on earth with this lovely family of horses and people, and then Yvonne can devote newborn foal attention to Mario when he arrives. The perfect timing of the Universe. From what we saw of Mario in an earlier video, he is shy and it will take more time for him to learn to love his life here, to feel safe with everyone and everything (that is safe).
