Peach is going to be a little thinker. I remember in a previous video that Yvonne had said that a new born foal needs to stand within a half hour, so something may be wrong with them, and yet it took Peach a little over half an hour to do so, but fortunately she's doing just fine. She was just taking her time to think about what she needs to do before doing it. And she did it well. Stood up on her first try. Well done, little one.

Somehow with the Shetties, the fact that this longlegged foal was in that belly just hours ago strikes me as even more unlikely and wondrous as with the big Frisians. The Frisian foals can usually almost walk through under their mems. Whereas Peach looks considerably taller in relation to Daisy.

The miracle of childbirth, or in this case, foalbirth, is aways a delight to watch. I'm happy to know that it all went well. Seeing how BIG Peach is reminded me of the (thankfully infrequent) times when we hear that some woman somewhere has given birth to a 10 pound (or heavier) baby. There's both sympathy and awe. Poor Daisy. It must have been so difficult to move around, and to just breathe, with such a large foal in her belly. I'm so glad that the birth was trouble-free. Now, I await Glendy's foal. I'm eager to see both of these new Stal H ponies (from Johnny!) frolicking in the field throughout the coming days. Thank you, Yvonne, for getting out of bed and heading to the Stable at 3 a.m. with camera in hand. Thanks to Oda for her watchful eye. I hope that so many people will comment on her boyfriend's snoring that he will make an appointment with his doctor. He may have Sleep Apnea, and if he does, that's serious when left untreated. He may need a CPAP Machine, which would not only help him, but would allow Oda to sleep in peaceful quietness. He should see his doctor and get checked out as soon as possible. As a cat person, I would love for Yvonne to do a little story-telling for us, and to tell us about each of her three cats: Dribbel, Rakker, and Sissy. I'd love to know WHEN Yvonne got each cat, and what it's personality is like. She already had all of her cats when Dieuwke and Kiki joined the family. We saw the pups at Stal G, and were introduced to them there, before Stal H even came into existence. We know very little about the kitties. Thanks for another fabulous video! 👁❤Friesian 🐎🐎🐎!

Incredible how Peach popped up so quickly. She was ready to start zoomies right away. Dribble looks like a wise old cat and is probably wondering why Yvonne is in the stables at 3:00am. Peach got up so quickly the first time. As if her legs were springs. And jumping around so soon after birth, such a goofball. Dribble makes me miss my cat that passed away last november. Same color, same sweet voice.
