I would like to also say your channel has been a big help in teaching the fish finding abilities of Navionics. Are you familiar with Hummingbirds Coastmaster card ? I have a Helix 7 trying to decide which card to use. I also follow John Skinners channel. I noticed he uses the Coastmaster card. He never really goes into the detail that you do in regard to finding fishing spots. Your videos and tips are great !!!

Is that the Casleton bridge in the background ? Great fishing from Troy to Newburgh .. live herring is great up north in the river but bloodworms seems to be the choice of bait from Poughkeepsie south ! Any pointers for fishing around Norwalk Ct area ?

@nextdriftfishing it's a special permit you get through NYS DEC. NY herring regs are weird. To catch herring in a net like your buddy was using or if you want to use a scap net bigger than 4x4 you need the permit. It's kinda a pain in the ass because you are treated like a commercial fisherman and have to fill out monthly logs. I just didn't want to see him get in trouble because alot of people simply don't know. 👍
