Stretch always been my favorite interviewee but this takes the cake! The history of the Crips was on point: they were (are) bullies and they laid the foundation of gangbanging to always be hating on someone else. You can tell it was created by children since both Tookie and Raymond Washington were underage when they formed it. Being from the Bay, we never understood the hate part (calling Crips Crabs or calling Bloods Slobs), but if you look at it from afar, you can see the hate embedded in the culture and that’s what leads to the murders.
