I worked in a sugar mill. My first job was cleaning a molasses tank. About 200' across, about 4' deep in solidified molasses. I was dragging a steam hose, melting the solids back to liquid. After 8 hours my hair was plastered. If I lowered my arms to my side, they stuck.

I'm type 2 diabetic I was diagnosed that back in December last year I have lost 20 lb and my last doctor's visit which was back in April showed that my cholesterol and my sugar levels of really improved, I have to look at every label when I go to the market to make sure I'm getting no more than maybe 2% of sugar in any given item I use stevia now instead of sugar it really is amazing how every label in the supermarket has some form of sugar or high carbohydrates in it I didn't know that until I was diagnosed but I'm going to beat this I go back in September and I'm pretty sure it'll be another 15 pounds I've lost and I think I'm going to get a thumbs up for my doctor. this time I'm so proud of myself🤗

Please do safe exercises daily. Can walk for 90 minutes at a comfortable pace every single day. Can enjoy just soups for 2 days a week. Avoid artificial sugar also. They ALSO cause insulin stimulation. The key to your health is old millets from 1960s without any hybrid variety or alteration. Every early night meal at 7 of millet (after soaking in water for 10 hours). And eat nothing till next morning. Breakfast could be moderate fruits. So lunch can be your fav meal eaten sensibly. Avoid everything that has been processed. No dressings on salad or soup. My immobile mom lost from 120 kgs to 105 with no exercise at 71 years age. The doctors were shocked

Sugar is really bad for you, just watch some Robert Lustig videos on it. Unfortunately it's in alot of processed foods even bread. Your body treats it just like alcohol, because it's metabolically the same.

Nope it's actually seed/vegetable oils. The timeline of sugar consumption doesn't add up to the timeline of the obesity epidemic. Sugar of course has not helped, but it's not the primary source.

@@vladimirofsvalbard9477 it's more to do with genetically modified corn and other crops that were made to grow using fertilizers. I agree with what you said but omega 6 fatty acids (what you get from seed/vegetable oils) aren't as harmful as sugar if you're getting more omega 3s in your diet. Just my opinion.

When you are able, in any given moment, to find the laughter, to find the love, your life as you have lived it through the filter of your mind, will be over. To know the self is to see the self, to see the self is to understand the self, to understand the self is to learn, to learn is to teach - this is the obligation set by each student as they walk the path to healing.

This is so stupid. We only make Cane here because we tariff foreign imports, as a result Americans pay 0.25 per pound when the world pays 0.15 per pound. It's for this reason that High Fructose Corn Syrup is in most of our drinks instead of actual Sugar.

Get a financial coach/mentor to guide through your investing goal. The biggest health benefit to the entire USA and perhaps civilized world is to cut back subsidizing sugar and fortifying literally everything you can with it. I cut it mostly out of my diet a decade back and lost 45lbs, at times over over 50lbs when strict. If you want people to be healthier, this is something that would literally make a difference. Think about this... Lots of people exercise. Why? Not to run faster or live longer, but to keep weight off. Being a health nut I can say diet is 90% of the battle, exercise is the rest.
