Love your pearl earrings ~ 12:20. If you liked that book, you might like « Uncanny Valley » by Anna Weiner. It’s about Bay Area tech culture specifically, but work in general - and slightly relevant to your Big Sur marathon, because you may meet some people from the Bay Area out there :) It helped me a lot, bc I realized, having my first post-college job in that region, how I think about work, and how it is definitely a product of that time and place, and how I can change it to align with my personal values.
