Thanks for the video. I was in the club that puts this event on, E'ville Iron, from 1981 until about 2006. Used to assist another club member in "managing" the swap meet for about 10 or 12 years, though it wasn't as big then. Only live about a mile or so from the 4H Center but due to some health issues (wifes) was not able to attend this year. Appreciate the video and hope you will be doing one on the street rods in attendance also. PRE '48 ROCKS.

It is simply amazing how much things have changed, in the automotive world, in the past 40-50 years! That '64 Chevy pickup @ 33:35 mark... Even with the newer drivetrain, I can remember both my dad and I bringing running/driving '60-'66 Chevy pickups home in similar condition, for $500.😎...in the 1970s and 1980s.

At the 19:40 mark, that '35 Chevy pickup... very cool, if maybe a tad pricey. However, if I was 30 years younger, and had the money, I would have been quite interested in buying it! I always wanted to "hot rod" an old Chevy pickup from the 1930s. Spent a lot of time and money building a '54 Chevy pickup (my favorite) instead. Dang I sure miss my '54.

@@THROTTLEPOWER thanks. I was able to get my '54 looking decent and running great. But it was far from "show quality".😁 Did all the work myself, over several years. Had it from '83 to '03. I managed to retain it though one divorce. However, my 2nd divorce got a little pricey. So I wound up having to sell the truck, in order to keep myself above water (financially). I still miss it. But life goes on.😎
