Videos of delivery drivers throwing packages around really makes me see red. It's not funny, it's pathetic. If they can't be arsed to do their jobs properly, they should just quit so someone who'll be grateful for the work can do it - someone who will take some pride in it. I know most delivery drivers do their jobs professionally (I did it myself for years, it's a good job) but those shown here have no business being in that line of work. Do it properly or don't do it at all. People paid good money for those packages, so proper care and respect should be shown with every single one of them.
@misseselise38642 ай бұрын
Seriously. Especially since most delivery companies will not replace the item damaged even when there’s proof it’s their fault. I ordered a small desk off Amazon last year and the box was torn open from the delivery person sliding it up the concrete stairs to my porch (there are five steps and the package was 20lbs). Even had video of the driver doing it. Amazon refused to replace the desk bc FedEx delivered it, not them (which is fair) so I contacted FedEx about it and they also said they aren’t required to replace it but never said why. Ive delivered stuff before so I know it’s a lot of work, but all employers inform you about the large amount of manual labor required & someone who doesn’t want to do that shouldn’t take the job.

The new guy actually makes sure things arrive in as pristine condition as he can make them. He’s also our new neighbor. We like him. And his dog

2:00 Wow, I've never seen a bridge can-opener a _train_ before. Trucks at least have the "excuse" of dynamically altering their route, but trains know their entire route in advance and the clearances needed, overpasses over train tracks are _presumably_ built to a set minimum standard height, and train cars _presumably_ are built to be lower than that height (their load might not be, but that car was enclosed so a non-issue).

@theburntcookieshub58032 ай бұрын
Good catch! However some crews actively choose to ignore their PASS (the wail). You have to shake your hips every 20 seconds or else it goes into prealarm then full alarm. Just to say it's very very unlikely there's a man down (especially since it's not full alarm, no RIT is active, crew is leisure and recording videos instead of correcting improper attack pronto etc.) Good catch but unlikely.

Doesn't really matter. Considering the Cyrillic characters, it's Eastern Europe. Cycle paths are a rarity in most Eastern European countries and cycling on the pavement is either allowed or 'not allowed but tolerated as long as you keep an eye out for all the pedestrians and mind your speed.' The cyclist did neither, but considering it was some delivery cyclist, I'm not surprised. I've been to Kyiv 6 years ago and saw only 2 cyclists or so in the 9 days I was there. The hills there are not to blame, as cycling in Austria and Switzerland is considered very normal as well: there are just no cyclepaths in Kyiv and traffic is absolutely murderous, so they ride on the pavement. And just like motorists that have to park on the pavement (very normal in Kyiv and probably in many other places) they took great care in doing so. It was a big city, but I experienced far more courtesy than in Amsterdam, a place I live close to.

right, it wasn't the fact that the biker may have picked up too much speed in a crowded environment at all. not even close -____- moron.

These incompetent delivery workers are pissing me off. They should be fired, charged to buy the stuff themselves, apologise properly and then fined.

I drove forklifts for years and never had an accident.

I used to do early morning stock at Petsmart, and the only accident I ever had was accidentally pushing a pallet full of 50 lb bags of dry dog food off the top shelf and onto the floor on the other side. We were cleaning up dog food for an hour. My manager was really cool about it. It wasn't the first time someone had done that. 🤣

it’s blowing my mind that, out of the 4-5 clips of forklift-related incidents, most of them involved 2L Pepsi bottles

7:48 It's official, hands on the hips means you really screwed up, because you could have made this avoidable by doing the job right instead of lazy or quick. I've been down that road when I was young believe it's not fun that's why I stay off forklifts.
