Dear Mr. Lofgren, A long time ago, when I was a kid, my dad would play this song for me and my sister. It quickly became one of our favorites. We were young then, so maybe we didn't really understand until we were older. Our parents wrote you a letter back then, by hand, and you responded to it, by hand. It's in a frame on the wall of our Dad's house. Thank you for giving us this song. It's come a long way from hand-written letters to comments on KZbin. Sincerely, Joel and Peggy's son.
