I hate the folk style scoring system. There is no reason I should get taken down 3 times and only be 1 take down away from it being a 1 point match.

That’s like saying I shouldn’t be taken down 3 times in freestyle but I get one takedown and then leg lace and win.
@greatstate584 жыл бұрын
Nitro X not remotely the same. A leg lace is an offensive move. Getting up isn’t. Watch Gable vs Tony @ big tens. Tony put up ZERO offense yet going into the 3rd it was still a 1 takedown match even tho he was taken down multiple timesz

john doe yea that’s a good point but I don’t think there is a way to fix it. Guys just got to be motivated to put on a entertaining wrestling match
@greatstate584 жыл бұрын
Nitro X I think the way to fix it is to eliminate the escape point. Getting back to your feet should be it’s own reward. But I think the nature of folkstyle is to encourage ground control.

john doe stalling needs to be called out earlier. I’m a sophomore rn and way too many times have I seen dudes not even try to build up to their base for 20 sec and not get called for stalling that’s ridiculous. Those are the guys that make wrestling boring and fit the stereotype that wrestling is a boring sport to watch.
