I been wondering what it costs to put up and tear down that thing each year. It can't be cheap. In the long run it might be better if they put up a steel warehouse and rented out the space for vendor storage the rest of the year.

I thought the same thing. Can only imagine the markup from a dealer that can afford to a grand or two to move the to Q. I looked last year and the prices from these dealers were in no way comparable to the standard market. In other words, no deals at Quartzsite for sure.

I worked at several party rental places in years past. The largest tent I could put up by myself was a 30x60 oval. The largest tent I helped with was a 60x360. That tent is way bigger.

It's always amazing to see the tents go up. There's a lot going on to get them show ready. I've done some time in the outdoor entertainment field. Hard work but fun. We'll be there the 22nd thru the 25th with the Trailmanor at Rice Ranch. Going with some new people so want to try and see more of the natural attractions and museums this year.

I'm from Pittsburgh and never have been further North in AZ than Tucson but I feel like Quartzite is a lot like Sturgis. It's only busy for a short season then nothing happens until the next year so it must be hard to sell property there.

Anything interesting in town the last two weeks in January? We’re going to begin in Yuma and then head to Quartzside ,Bullhead and Kingman looking around. I liking the prices of property in Kingman but not sure what it’s like in winter. I know what summers like which is why I like Kingman it’s not quite as hot as it gets in Bullhead. I love being on the road seeing America and enjoy having you visit places I like to visit too.
