The 500 v2 that just came out took over my hx stomp setup it was literally so easy to set up. the cab sim is a god blessing it’s a great investment with 2020 being so great

as someone who owns this amp the only thing thats wrong about this video is the aux in only comes out of the headphone out making it perfect to use as the most quiet practice amp possible but i was kinda bummed out when i realized that was the case trying to playing laong without headphones

Sick bruh, fluff I just got a sterling SUB 4, I know we’re all guitar players here but it’d be cool if you did some bass stuff, like how you go about bass lines, how you go bout tones etc. just for like little mixes you do on here that would be awesome!!

If I buy this equipment( 900v2+ DG cabin 410), would I need the B7K ultra pedal???

Was hoping to hear it with a baritone guitar tbh

Great amps. Sadly, my V.1 seems to be on its deathbed. It's giving off all kinds of strange crackling noises and started to hum, aswell, yesterday. I contacted the DG service but didn't get a an answer, yet. We'll see if there's still hope for it.

@@FlannelGorilla Never got an answer from DG, neither to my mail nor to the post on their FB page. I bit the bullet and made the switch to a Mesa Boogie M6 Carbine.

How is it?, think i going buy one!
@pjmuck22 күн бұрын
@@Bolonsio In terms of sound, versatility, power, amazing. However, I've had to have it serviced twice already. (Compare that my 35 year old GK 400RB that still serves as my backup and has NEVER needed servicing). Luckily, it was still under warranty, but I'm going to say it's not durable, so keep it well-protected and in a rack (FYI, it doesn't come with any rack ears or a way to mount it, so you'd have to come up with a creative way to keep it racked).

Hey Fluff, maybe you can check out the hotone ampero one, since you already made a video of the GE200 and theres not many content of this amazing modeler on youtube!

I like the Darkglass stuff some but it always sounds the same, scooped way out and bass sounds muddy and almost like it has a sub octave on it. I wish it could have a more traditional sound but with the same abilities.

@@theinfamoustuba I'm not a metal player at all. I play more like Fat Wreck Chords style skatepunk, still think this would pull it off? I'd actually use it MOSTLY in a Me First and The Gimme Gimmes style cover band...

he does multiple times in the video the blue lights mean vintage red is b3k and its a pretty noticeable difference in the gain structure b3k drive is a lot more grindy and harsh vintage is closer to what youd get from something like an ampeg svt

for anyone whose really into Darkglass produ ts, what would be the one Darkglass product you would desert usland with?
@0odles0fBrutals4 жыл бұрын
this amp it has a compressor, 2 different drive circuits, a huge graphic eq ir loader effects loop its basically an all in one bass tone solution and you can even record with it directly into an interface and have it do all your processing in the box itself and not have to worry about it blowing up from not having a speaker load active because it only activates the power amp if you have a speaker cable plugged in, which is genius, and im not sure why other amps dont have that as a feature and you can use it as a silent way to practice because of the headphone out and aux in also its small and incredibly lightweight, you can literally put it in a backpack
@MsGuitarman19114 жыл бұрын
I feel like Darkglass has just become a bass standard for any modern band, I have a 900v2 Love the thing! I was inspired by Dave Hollingsworth of Toska to get one and pair it with a Darkglass Alpha Omega Ultra Pedal. amazing Combo!

I love the B7k, but to be honest, I am not a big fan of those lightweight amps. They lack of punch, yes, they do. It became better over times, but a Class A/B - powersection still blows a Class D power amp out of the water. I'll stay with my old, trusty GenzBenz GBE 750 and 1200. Those two are beasts! But yes, I have a Genzler Magellan 800, for Coffeehouse and Bar gigs. This is where small, lightweight amps shine. Give me a venue with 500 people, and I'd prefer the big stuff.

No different than how sansamp and ampeg dominated the heavy music scene for bass for decades. The Darkglass stuff is actually really versatile if you let it be and don't go for the stereotypical tones. What gear do you find is a better alternative for heavy music?
