I'm so in love with how this show was filmed, instead of it being like a sitcom it's like a live action cartoon and it works so well. In an era when everything is getting a live action remake it really goes to show that you don't have to lose the whimsy and colorfulness when doing something live action. I appreciate this show so much more now.

Yesss you get it!! It's so camp!! Like I hate to compare them to the other shows around that era but they were fr doing their own thing with the atmosphere/worldbuilding. They had their own little quirky style with the treehats and random clothes changes. And they did all this while balancing the complicated love triangles and everything. It's just so iconic.
