The argument about Min Till and ploughing still depends on the weather and the type of of land up near me most people plough and it seems to work well I have a friend in Warwickshire who’s on min till permanently all because it suits his type of land like I said it depends on where you are But this year it’s been a problem doing anything in fact a times it a nightmare it is actually drying up at the moment might be able to get a bit done now. The Sumo is doing a good job hope Tractor run goes well this time feeing 91%today and Olly another great video

May be slow but in a season like this,nothing beats a plough & power harrow drill, my mintill barley is looking pretty sick, what was ploughed and power harrowed is looking perfect,obxiously sequestering a lot more carbon than the struggling crop,just saying . 90% today

We used to run a combi drill, works ok in the dry on our land but park it up when it's wet. After ploughing we would need two passes of the power harrow and it just never worked on wet land. Moved to a Vaderstad rapid. Far better job.

Absolutely. We have maybe only 10% of our land that would power harrow immediately after the plough in wet/damp conditions. Rest of it, no chance. We min tilled some and ploughed some this year and we have written fields off with flooding with both methods but I think the consensus round our way is that ploughing is better when it's gonna be wet. Most wheat round here gets planted with Vaderstad drills.

if the landlord rents it out with data cabling in, then he is responsible for keeping it working. so every landlord rips out perfectly good data. and makes the client pay for new. its classed as "furniture" in social housing the councils do the same thing with carpets.
