You could pull the caboose around like an RV. And the loco remote works with the microshunter so you could drive from the cupola.

Microshunter can pull a DM2 out of coal mine, so it can rescue DM2s pretty much anywhere

honestly, were i to design one of these battery electrics, repurpose a retired trolley/streetcar, office desk at the front with a computer for the main controls and communications, at the back the fuses and secondary physical controls, remember kids always give your emergency vehicles redundancies for safety, the middle section would be outfitted as a minimalistic camper in case of long tow jobs now, i choose a trolley/streetcar for the aesthetics, but for purely utility could go for an old retired subway car, or for increased aesthetics could build one from scratch to look like a volkswagen bus, only reason i consider aesthetics at all is these things don't have anything else going for them so if you can make them look good without hurting their utility, why not?

How do you get the passenger jobs? I know its a mod but I cannot work out how to get it all plumbed in.

Ahh, no mods here. All I did was go into Sandbox mode and create a custom train in the train editor. Then away you go 🚂😃
